Tretop is a nearly-new apartment, which is part of the exciting redevelopment of the Old City Hospital and grounds.  The apartment is very close to Truro city centre, only a few minutes walk from the restaurants and the famous Lemon Street, Lemon Quay, the market and magnificent Cathedral.  We have been rated 5 star by Visit Britain again this year. 

The apartment is set on the third (top) floor and enjoys sweeping panoramic views across a large part of the city. There are two bedrooms sleeping either a double and two singles, or four singles can be arranged. The beds are electrically adjustable and each bedroom has a television. The lounge has two settees, television, dining table and chairs. The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath. The kitchen is very well equipped with double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also BT Home Hub Wireless Broadband and BT Vision.

If you come by car, we have a dedicated parking space, so you will not have to pay for the city centre car parks, just leave your car at the apartment and stroll into town without worrying about how much more time you have available.

We are a five minute downhill walk into the city centre and a very short taxi ride from the mainline station. Getting out and about is fairly easy; one recommended day trip is the boat ride from Truro town quay to Falmouth - a wonderful day out, if the tide is low there is a double-decker bus link to the landing stage at Malpas further down the river, so you still only have to walk or park at the Town Quay. Another is to take the train to St Austell where there is a bus link direct into the Eden Project. The easy way to arrive at Eden.

Our rental year was very successful in 2008 and right through to 2013, with many compliments in the visitors book!  We find it suits almost everybody.

Truro is the cultural, shopping and restaurant centre of Cornwall and is centrally located for both the North and South coasts, which are each just nine

miles away (12 kilometres).

In March 2011 Truro was awarded “Britain’s Cleanest City” for the second time in a row! Perhaps we have an unfair advantage, having a population of only 25,000 - but this award is about quality-of-life, not numbers. Come, and enjoy.
